3 weeks from today I have a scheduled c-section.

On one hand a relief: being induced 1 week past your due date is torture! I can't be induced this time because Haydyn ended up being an emergency c-section.

On the other hand kind of a bummer. Because Todd has only been working at his new job a couple of months, he will only have accrued 2 sick days. That means one day off when I have the baby, and one more the day I come home from the hospital. Something like that. And from my last experience, having a c-section was definitely a harder recovery.

I would be thrilled to have my water break this time. I've never gone that route. I'll also be praying for him to come on a weekend so Todd won't have to take a day off to be there! But as long as I don't deliver my own baby while speeding down the freeway I'll be happy!

Brotherly love

Just a typical Quin and Cole moment in front of the Draper Temple. Notice Quin's innocent face while trying to karate kick his brother without us noticing. Now notice Cole's face and imagine the squeeling pig like scream coming out of it. Ahhhh. . . love at home.

School time!

Oh how I miss the buss. It deserted us because it was to full. Hmmm. Doesn't make sense to me either. So now I have a flow chart depicting my 3 different carpools. If I don't refer to it daily I'm lost (you think I'm kidding don't you.) This is going to be a treat when baby comes. Luckily I have wonderful friends who will step up and help out for a while. I still have a sliver of hope that our bus stop will reappear and I will only have 2 carpools to remember.

Here's to the first day of school 2009 (or should I say first days of school, or first day of schools? I don't know. 3 different first days of school... how bout that.)

Brigham with his spankin new buzz. He is in 4th grade this year.

Mallory going to 2nd grade (and her trusty sidekick Hayhay.)

My cute Quin off to kindergarten.

Cole is headed to Tree house Preschool. Next year... kindergarten!
